Spotlight on Rigler!

Rigler has been asked to spotlight our program at the PPS Board Meeting on October 10, 2023! While Rigler has a long way to go to ensure that all students demonstrate proficiency in Math and Reading, students from our school demonstrated a 9.8% jump in reading proficiency on the state testing which is 3rd highest among all 81 elementary schools in our district. We feel strongly that our collective work as a community to center the experience of kids is why we are making gains. Thank you to our teachers, students, and parents who are the stars of this episode! But there is SO MUCH MORE TO DO.

The School Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 19th from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Dr. Matthew Prophet Education Center (Prophet Center) at 501 N Dixon St. Portland, OR 97227. The meeting is open for the public to attend and will be streamed live on YouTube.
