Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Rigler PAW Store: 2023-24

The PAW Store is open every Friday and is where students can “spend” their hard-earned PAW rewards on toys and prizes. Please consider signing up to volunteer. It really is fun to see all the kids get so excited about using their hard earned paws! Time slots include a few minutes before and after to set up and get things placed back into the storage area. Please note that volunteers must complete the volunteer training and background check for PPS to participate. Teacher & Staff Appreciation:

Join the Teacher/Staff Appreciation team! We're looking for volunteers to coordinate ways to show the wonderful staff at Rigler how much we appreciate all the hard work they put into our students! Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate a potluck for the teachers and staff during parent-teacher conference week in November, and come up with creative ways to support the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Fundraising:

Padres Unidos has many creative fundraising campaigns going all year long. We're looking for volunteers to help head up these campaigns and also secure other funds for our school from the broader Portland community.
